About the Role Working as part of a multidisciplinary team focused on the needs of participants with acquired brain injury, the Senior Occupational Therapist is responsible for the provision and management of specialised, high-quality Occupational Therapy services delivered within Brain Injury SA. Duties include:Managing and evaluating best practice.Maintaining high-level clinical standards in supervision of staff and students.Implementing innovative clinical practices.The incumbent also assists the Team Leader in:Managing human and physical resources required to meet service demand.Developing and documenting systems to support quality and clinical standards.Providing advice and consultancy to service funders, management, and professional networks.Providing clinical and professional leadership to Occupational Therapists.This position holds delegated pairing with Occupational Therapy Lead. Qualifications / Registrations: Relevant qualification in Occupational Therapy.Professional Registration with AHPRA.Home modifications/Equipment Prescription experience.Specialised assessment and report writing.Minimum 2 years' experience specialising in neurology/brain injury or minimum 4 years' experience in broad Occupational Therapy practice.Current (within the last 3 years) DCSI "Child related employment screening".Experience working with adults with Acquired Brain Injury.Experience RTW service delivery/interest in employment rehabilitation.NDIS knowledge/experience.Driving assessment knowledge/experience.Experience supervising students and junior staff.
