They work across a mix of React, Type Script, Node, Golang, Graph QL, for web and React Native, Expo, EAS for their mobile apps, hosted on AWS.The role We are looking for an experienced Senior Mobile Engineer specializing in React Native to join the Play HQ team. This role is ideal for someone who has successfully developed large B2 C mobile apps.As a Senior Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and optimising their mobile user experience to deliver seamless, engaging, and reliable user experiences.Key responsibilities: Lead the development of scalable, high-performance mobile applications using React Native. Architect and implement app features, ensuring smooth integration with APIs and backend services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and backend engineers, to deliver exceptional user experiences. Drive best practices in mobile app development, including performance optimization, accessibility, and maintainability. Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and contribute to knowledge-sharing within the team. Proactively identify and resolve technical challenges, bugs, and performance bottlenecks. Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in mobile app development and implement relevant innovations. What you bring to the role: Proven expertise in mobile application development, with a strong focus on React Native. Strong in Java Script and Type Script. Experience developing and maintaining large-scale B2 C mobile applications. Some experience integrating third-party APIs, analytics tools, and payment gateways. Solid understanding of mobile app architecture and design patterns, including MVVM, Redux, or similar. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and app deployment processes for both i OS and Android.
