About the roleIrfan College is seeking a talented and strategic Head of Human Resources & Marketing to lead our HR and marketing functions. In this full-time role based in Cecil Park, NSW, you will fulfil, improve, and maintain all processes relating to administration with regard to onboarding to termination for all employees in conjunction with the Principal and Executive Management team to ensure Irfan College has professional practises. The ability to promote a positive and consultative Human Resource reputation throughout the school is paramount, and you will be responsible for driving the College's talent strategy and overseeing all marketing activities to promote our institution to prospective students and the broader community. What you'll be doing Manage Irfan College's Human Resource Information Systems, maintain data, and improvingthe quality of interactions.Maintain the HRIS systems up to date with staff employment details and relevant employeedetails, registrations etc.Drive the development and continuous improvement of Human Resource systems, policies,and procedures to meet legislative requirements and enhance employee experience.Assist in the HR policies and procedures relating to the employment lifecycle (i.e., workforceplanning, recruitment, induction and onboarding, performance planning, performancemanagement, reward, employee separation etc.) ensuring that they are efficient, compliantwith relevant policies and legislation and fit for purpose for the Irfan College environment andculture.Understand and interpret Teachers Awards and General Staff Education Awards in order tomake recommendations on employee relations matters.Work with the Executive Management to identify areas of improvement to support improvedemployee engagement and performance.Manage all WorkCover current claims and new claims, including the establishment of RTWPlans.Maintain cooperative relationships with internal and external stakeholders with a demonstrated commitment to customer service.Assist the end-to-end recruitment process in partnership with the Principal and Business Manager, developing best practices and appropriate procedures.First point guidance to leaders on Human Resources and employee relations issues in line with school policies and best practices, including disciplinary, grievance, performance, and absence management.Collaborate with the Executive Management team to align HR and marketing initiatives with the College's overall strategic objectives.Work on Human Resource programs of work in areas such as induction, performance,remuneration and benefits to enable the achievement of strategic goals.Oversee the College's internal and external marketing activities, including brand management, content creation, digital marketing and event coordination.Analyse market trends and competitor activity to inform the College's marketing strategy and drive student enrolment. What we're looking for A tertiary qualification in Human Resources; Industrial Relations; Business; Management or arelated discipline.Proven track record of developing and executing successful HR and marketing strategies to support organisational growth.Excellent administration skills.Ability to interpret and apply knowledge of awards and/or other industrial agreements,providing advice to the Executive Management and employees.Strategic mindset with the ability to think analytically and make data-driven decisions.Passionate about building strong relationships with internal clients, peers and team andworking collaboratively to deliver impactful solutions.Commitment to enhancing collaboration and a constructive culture.Able to work independently and deliver to agreed deadlines with a results-driven approach.Excellent verbal and written communication and stakeholder management skills.Strong decision-making skills.
