Maintenance Supervisor

About the Role:
This is a full-time, ongoing position responsible for planning, designing, organizing, and overseeing maintenance of mechanical and process plant installations at the pet food manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures.
* Identify and resolve faults in production equipment efficiently.
* Enhance the efficiency and reliability of mechanical systems.
* Conduct regular inspections of machinery to detect wear, damage, or deterioration.
* Liaise with production and quality teams to jointly solve problems and sustain uptime and production output.
* Supervise the installation of plant systems and equipment.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
* Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with mechanical systems.
Requirements:
* Recognised Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
* At least two years post-degree mechanical engineering experience.
* Ability to read and create technical drawings.
* Commitment to self-education and improvement.
* Valid driver's license and Elevated Work Platform (EWP) license.
* Forklift license and/or Restricted Electrical Worker's license (Class D) would be an advantage.
* Unrestricted rights to work full time in Australia.
