We are currently looking for a Lead Civil Designer to join our growing team in Perth.
We have an exciting local and international projects portfolio that spans across (but not limited to) Nickel Cobalt and Uranium
This role will play a fundamental role within the team by producing earthwork designs and drawings and would suit someone with a strong mining and minerals background and a demonstrated background in the design process, co-ordination of work with other design disciplines and the efficient management and deliver of projects within budget and quality constraints
About the role
· Development of earthwork design solutions to the satisfaction of the client’s requirements
· Ensure designs and associated documents are accurate
· Maintain consistent design drafting standards across projects by adhering to Ausenco design drafting standards
· Provide technical support and assistance within the discipline team
· Support graduate engineers and designers

About you
· Demonstrated experience within civil engineering including earthworks, roads and stormwater systems
· Experience working in engineering consulting
· Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or Associate Diploma
· Competent user of 12D and AutoCAD. SmartPlant 3D highly regarded
· Ability to work with little supervision with effective time management skills
