Here's what awaits you:
The Process Control Engineer reports to the Specialist – Operational Technology.
The primary responsibility of the role is to provide operational support and maintenance for the process control systems of the Fimiston Plant, Gidji Plant and the Kalgoorlie Air Monitoring Network (KAMN) air quality stations to ensure information generation and support process efficiency.
Support the development and continuous improvement of Operational Technologies Systems.
Proactively inform and influence key stakeholders through deep technical knowledge and strong interpersonal skills.
Troubleshoot and resolve end-user Operational Technology System issues.
Build and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers of hardware, software, and support services.
Ensure compliance with the Company's policies and procedures.
Display a clear commitment to safety and health and seek to eliminate or control the risks of injury and/or damage to equipment.
Active participation in all communication and awareness systems.
Manage all activities in a manner that prevents pollution and minimises damage to the natural environment.
Minimises waste generation through reduced consumption and increased re-use and recycling.
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
Experience: Minimum two (2) years' experience in a similar role with strong technical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to quickly learn new systems.
Demonstrated ability to identify potential issues and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
Solid understanding of process control fundamentals and advanced control concepts, with excellent process analysis capabilities.
Qualifications : Current Unencumbered Australian "C" Class Drivers Licence.
A tertiary qualification in relevant Engineering, related Trade Qualifications.
