About theRole:
Thevision of International Education Services (IES) is to grow globalcitizens in our public schools. IES’ primary focus isto promote South Australian Government Schools programs to globalmarkets and deliver innovative and high-quality educationexperiences to international students enrolled in our publicschools.
Successin delivery involves working with the international students inschools, and their support networks, to ensure the wellbeing needsof the students are met, whilst ensuring their compliance with theconditions contained within the Education Services for OverseasStudents Framework.
The IESteam works with schools, education agents, homestays and parents toassist them to support the strengths, opportunities, and additionalneeds of the international student. This service is based onidentified and agreed upon goals, and the nature and level ofsupport is tailored to each student’s needs.
TheSenior Social Worker – IES is responsible for wellbeingsupport to international students through the provision ofsustainable, ongoing, complementary evidence-based social workservices and the collaborative design and implementation ofinterventions to support them to develop their capacity to fullyparticipate in learning.
Qualifications:
Essential :An appropriate degree or equivalent experience which giveseligibility for full membership of the Australian Association ofSocial Workers
Special Conditions:
Thesuccessful applicant is required to gain a Department for HumanServices (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to beingemployed which is required to be renewed every five years beforeexpiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC(Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care)Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online(Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated everythree years.

Remuneration:
AHP3$101,124 – $108,467 per annum plus superannuation.
