MECHANICAL ESTIMATOR/PROJECT MANAGER Global Manufacturing Group are seeking an enthusiastic Mechanical Estimator/Project Manager for a full time position within our Maryborough division. We are currently seeking a committed individual to join our sales team.
As a Client Manager/Estimator, you will:

Working as part of a pro-active management team to expand the business.Supporting and suggesting improvements for GMG's policies and procedures.Drive GMG's commitment to working within our Quality Management and OHS Management systems.Establishing and maintaining regular in-person or written communications with customers and suppliers to ensure customer expectations and product contract requirements are fully met.Knowing and understanding client orders through consultation with the production department to establish the quality, finish and delivery required.Analyse, develop and deliver, purchasing and inventory reports for the present and future pricing with availability and lead time as well as weekly forecasts for jobs including due dates and totals.Secure the most cost effective sources of products and services through, conference with directors to establish budget and cost controls, maintaining the use of quality control standards, and interviewing, identifying and qualifying potential new vendors.Managing new business development including but not limited to: new contracts, extensions to existing contracts and contribution to tender assessment for new projects.Review and analyse production, quality control and operational reports to determine causes of nonconformity with product specifications, and operation or production problems.Leading by example through reliability, performance, confidence, maturity and advice. Qualifications, Education and/or Experience: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to consistently perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
