The Person: We are keen to hear from you if you possess the following skills, experience, and key attributes: Sound understanding of and experience in managing large scale agricultural enterprises, specifically including but not limited to both sheep and cattle production. Strategically focused with experience in change management, in particular cultural change. Open and communicative leadership style, with a strong mentoring and capability building approach to people management that encourages teamwork and collaboration. Experience working in a geographically dispersed organisation in challenging risk environments. High level interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to build and maintain key relationships and influence others at all levels of the organisation. Well-developed report writing, negotiation and influencing skills and confident in making timely decisions under pressure. Strong analytical skills and the ability to develop and enhance policy and procedures. High level business acumen with a forward thinking and continuous improvement mindset. Resilient, adaptable, highly motivated as well as well-planned and highly organised. High level commitment to safety with an understanding of current Workplace Relations and Work, Health & Safety legislation. Ability to use Microsoft suite of programs to a level commensurate with position requirements. Tertiary qualification in Business Management, Agriculture or related discipline. Hold a current unencumbered driver's license. Willingness and availability for regular travel (intra/interstate and remote), often requiring overnight or extended stays due to remote locations.
