This global business is one of the world's leading manufacturers of portable two-way radio communications solutions. For several decades they have been a trusted supplier to industries covering emergency services, 1st responders, mining, construction, transport, marine, security and many other sectors that require mission critical portable two-way radio solutions.
In Australia, the business has a dealer channel model with hundreds of loyal dealers they sell through. There is a range of products to cover digital, analogue and CB radio and as such their dealers range from large system integrators, through to consumer electronics retailers.
The Australian business is growing rapidly as new products are developed and demand from clients increases.
Position
The position of Dealer Account Manager is now available to be based out of Perth.
The role will see you take over the complete management of the dealer channel in WA and SA, and although this account base consists of around 100 accounts, the large majority are based in WA, therefore minimal travel to SA accounts is necessary.
Your main responsibility is to maintain the relationships with these dealers and maximise on the growth of each account. You will engage with end users to help create demand, however all sales would then be funnelled back through your dealer accounts.
This is a pure relationship, account management role where you are focussed on increasing sales from your existing customers through assisting with product education, sales training, technical support and end user engagement.
On offer is a generous salary package, including salary + car allowance + commission.
Required Criteria
It would be an ideal requirement to have any form of prior experience within the two-way radio communications sector. However, this is not essential and candidates from a related field performing a similar role of channel, dealer manager within some form of electronics will also be considered.
We are looking for candidates who have a proven track record of managing a channel sales model and increasing the spend of their customers.
The role is autonomous as there is no office based in Sydney, so the ability to work independently is essential, as is having a clear sense of personal drive, motivation and career ambition.
