Care Team Manager - what's involved in the role?
Reporting to the Area Manager, the Care Team Manager (HammondCare At Home) is responsible for leading, supporting, and mentoring their team as well as ensuring they have a good understanding of individual client needs and preferences and are able to provide services tailored to the needs of individual clients. The role will also manage the recruitment of new Care Workers and ensure all working validations, education, development plans and resources are available.
The role is offered on a Permanent Full-time basis and is located at our Hunter office in Cardiff, NSW.
What you'll bring
Certificate IV in Aged Care (Desirable), HR or similar degree & a minimum of 2 years relevant industry experience.
Knowledge of the Home Care Packages Program, CHSP services, Aged Care Quality Standards and Commonwealth Home Support Programme.
Performance coaching experience and management of a team while operating in a multi-site environment
A current driver’s licence and safe driving record and willingness to travel between HammondCare’s clients, sites, and services
Strong organisational, administrative and computer skills
Empathy and patience.
