The Senior Business Advisor Allied Health provides business focused leadership, advice, and support to the Executive Director Allied Health and Professional Directors across the Allied Health Service Delivery Model (AH-SDM) consistent with, and aligning to, the strategic and operational directions of the organisation.Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.The SCHHS is a values-based organisation. We respect, protect and promote human rights in our decision-making and actions.Key Responsibilities include:Provide high level financial and business advisory support to senior managers, including analysis and reporting of budget trends and the investigation of variances.Utilise information management systems tools to analyse and report data, monitoring and advising on variations in expenditure and activity affecting budgetary performance and activity targets.Identify a service line need for financial and activity-based information and respond to requests for information appropriately gathering and sourcing information for analysis, completing analysis (including variance analysis), providing technical advice, and producing reports that all allow informed, evidence-based decisions to be made.Provide high level leadership and advice in relation to strategic and operational management of financial resources, human resources, quality initiatives and general administration in line with the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service Strategic.Remuneration value up to $12,360.25 p.m., comprising salary between $4651.70 - $4982.80 p.f., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) AO6 (temporary position available until the 30th of September 2025).
