Job Summary: We are seeking a Planner to provide strategic and statutory planning advice, review the impact of Government planning policies and housing policy initiatives on Homes NSW property portfolio.About the Role: As a Planner, you will provide accurate and timely technical planning advice to internal and external stakeholders, housing providers, contractors, and consultants. You will prepare and/or review planning strategies and strategic planning documentation related to Homes NSW properties and future goals. You will also assist in the completion of planning and technical study reviews, provide advice and planning solutions, and project management of consultants, contractors, and providers (as required) in relation to planning activities.Key Responsibilities: Provide accurate and timely technical planning advice to internal and external stakeholders, housing providers, contractors, and consultants.Prepare and/or review planning strategies and strategic planning documentation related to Homes NSW properties and future goals.Assist in the completion of planning and technical study reviews, provide advice and planning solutions, and project management of consultants, contractors, and providers (as required) in relation to planning activities.Provide advice and recommendations on the appropriateness of different approaches to managing planning risks across projects. Requirements: Knowledge of relevant environmental and planning legislation and processes.Tertiary qualifications in urban/regional planning or related discipline and/or equivalent planning experience.Eligibility for membership of a relevant industry association.
