The role requires specialist expertise to lead and manage all aspects of workplace relations cases, particularly conducting initial assessments and investigations into staff behavioural issues, in a supportive and collaborative team.If you have the following skills and experience, this might be the role for you:Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and extensive experience in supporting stakeholders, including senior executives, managers, and staff members.Extensive experience in human resources management with a particular focus on industrial and employee relations as well as investigations.Specialist/Technical Expertise/QualificationsRelevant industrial relations and/or human resource management tertiary qualifications will be highly regarded.Extensive experience in Human Resources Management with a particular focus on operational Industrial and Employee Relations and Investigations. A demonstrated understanding of investigation techniques and principles, ideally involving misconduct matters, is required.Demonstrated ability to provide specialist advice to managers on industrial relations and staff employment issues. In providing this advice, the occupant will need to possess detailed operational knowledge of employment law, including relevant federal and state legislation (e.g., Fair Work Act and OHS Act). A detailed understanding of Government policy regarding Enterprise Bargaining processes is also desirable.This is a fixed term position available for a period of 12 months.
