Help shape the future of children in our care
At C&K Nambour Childcare Centre, we welcome children from 6 weeks of age to 5 years old and provide care and early learning five days a week from 6:30am to 6:00pm.
We have embraced a mixed age play philosophy and have all of our play spaces available throughout the day as we believe that the children learn more when they interact and play together. Our older friends can help our babies, and our younger friends are watching and working out the next step from others. Our play spaces are designed to promote increasingly challenging experiences. Educators support children's exploration and delight in each child's play.
A true connection to nature is promoted and we love to play outside, which means jumping in muddy puddles, chasing the rain, making wombat stew, lots of water play and looking after our animal friends and our plants.
We are on the lookout for a dynamic and energetic full time Assistant Director to join our team and assist in managing our Centre. As the Assistant Director, you'll be the right-hand person to our Director, helping to oversee the day-to-day operations. This role offers you the chance to work with a fantastic team, develop and implement exciting projects, and shape the future of our Centre.
With energy, creativity and care, you’ll lead a team of passionate people to deliver a quality educational program for children aged 0 to 5 years in our play-based learning environment. You’ll play an integral role in the overall operations and management of the centre to encourage and nurture children’s learning and development so they can become curious, capable and confident lifelong learners.
You’ll help shape the future of children in our care by taking full ownership of the centre’s operation, documentation and program delivery while building great relationships with our families and the wider community.
What you’ll bring
Whether you’re an experienced early childhood professional, newly graduated or just commencing your studies, if you’re energetic, fun and committed to guiding children’s early learning and development, we’ll set you up for success!
To thrive and succeed in this role, you will have or be willing to work towards:
8. A minimum of a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or willingness to commence studying that qualification.
9. First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
10. Valid Blue Card or Exemption Card.
11. A Police Check current within three months (or willingness to obtain one).
You will bring a passion for achieving long-lasting, high-quality outcomes for children, their families and the community alongside a team-player mindset - when you join C&K, you join a village of good-hearted, talented people, so you can lean on them as they lean on you.
Join us and find a better way with C&K - for children, for you, for always.
