Our work portfolio covers all of regional NSW and Metro Sydney, as well as interstate projects. Reporting to the HSEQ Manager, the Health and Safety / Environmental Coordinator for CCH Projects collaborates with Project Managers to develop and implement health and safety / environmental systems and strategies that promote a positive safety culture.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the implementation of health and safety / environmental strategies to ensure projects are delivered in line with legislative and client requirements
* Coordinate the health and safety / environmental framework, including administration of KPIs, targets, and processes for health and safety and environmental performance
* Collaborate with staff to improve hazard inspections and internal audit processes on health and safety / environmental hazards and risks
This is a hands-on position working within business units, assisting general managers, project managers, and project engineers in a fast-moving work environment. Regular travel to regional and metro areas will be required to fulfill this position.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Relevant qualifications (at a minimum CERT IV or Diploma in Work Health & Safety and / or Environment)
* A strong understanding of Work Health Safety and Environmental Legislation
* Strong knowledge of acts, regulations, codes of practice, and standards

The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and location.
