Protect our networks and secure our data to mitigate current and future cyber security risks. Provide cyber security advice and support to business areas in the development and expansion of services. Work collaboratively with the broad cyber security community, nationally and internationally, to share information, ensure best practice and enhance cyber security strategies. Raise awareness of cyber security with agency staff and the wider community. About the roleCyber Security Operations specialists help prepare for, detect and respond to cyber security incidents and threats. They perform analysis and investigations of cyber security incidents and plan, manage and coordinate proactive incident responses to cyber threats and intrusions across the agency.Specialisations may include:Incident response Operations centre coordination Cyber threat hunting Cyber threat detection Cyber Security Operations Support Officers / Cyber Security Operations Officers provide procedural and/or administrative support in response to Cyber Security incidents and issues. They may undertake research and analysis activities and engage with stakeholders to assist with or contribute to resolving general operational issues/incidents.
