The Role
Council’s Facilities Management team has an opportunity available for a permanent full time Supervisor Facility Maintenance and is looking to appoint a candidate who promotes and values safety at work and has project management and facilities maintenance experience. The position is responsible for providing high level technical advice, overseeing and supervising all maintenance activities across Council and leading and monitoring a multi-disciplinary team.
You will be a trade qualified builder or hold a Diploma of Building and Construction (Management) with experience in facilities and sound knowledge of project management, or you will have 5 years’ or more facilities and project management experience.
The supervisor is required to be proficient in use of computers and operating business systems and is responsible for improving processes, building efficiencies, and promoting a positive team environment to ensure the smooth operation of all services. Key criteria for you to be successful in this role:
* Trade Qualified Builder or Diploma of Building and Construction (Management) and/or demonstrated substantial experience in Project Management / Delivery, Condition Assessment and Project Scoping relevant to the position responsibilities.
* Possess and maintain a current motor vehicle driver licence.
Annual Salary: $91,114 QLGIA (Stream A) Level 5
