Our client is a locally owned and operated team of over 50 horticultural professionals that construct, maintain and renovate a diverse range of projects for the sports field, racing and landscape industry. They deliver complex sports turf projects on time, budget and with no compromise to quality or turf health. They also offer diverse range of landscaping services including domestic, commercial, poolscapes and more.
About the role
This role is Full-time and based out our client's Pakenham office, however you will work all over Melbourne.
Our client is looking for an experienced and passionate Landscape Operations Leader. You will have significant landscaping experience, be capable of quoting works, reading plans, liaising with subcontractors and be the primary point of contact for our client's key customers'. You will be experienced in managing multiple jobs simultaneously and allocating work to our clients' experienced and apprentice staff.
This is not a 9-5 role and there will be some time on the tools when things are busy.
Key Responsibilities for the role - but not limited to:
* Preparing quotes and estimations for landscaping works
* Creating further opportunities within builders and light commercial market
* Measuring of home sites for landscaping requirements
* Assess home sites for variations and report these variations to the Operations Manager and assist in works scheduling
* Supervises and install products and services
* Ensure all machinery is operated and maintained with due care.
Skills & experience
* Horticultural Qualification
* Excellent knowledge of horticulture, landscaping and all hard & soft landscaping works
* Installation of Turf and/or lawn varieties
* Ability to demonstrate professional horticultural techniques in accordance with approved plans
* Supervisory Experience
* Understanding the importance of maintaining accurate records
* Manual driving licence
