My client is seeking an experienced and dedicated Wills and Estate Lawyer to join a well-established law firm in the Wollongong area. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to manage a varied caseload, assist clients with complex estate planning, and provide guidance through the legal processes of wills, probate, and estate administration.
Key Responsibilities :
* Advise clients on estate planning matters, including the drafting of wills, powers of attorney, and advance care directives.
* Provide legal assistance in the administration of estates, including probate applications and estate litigation.
* Represent clients in contentious estate matters, including disputes regarding the validity of wills, family provision claims, and contested probate matters.
* Offer guidance on tax and succession planning to maximize clients’ estate benefits.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and high-quality legal support.
* Keep abreast of developments in wills and estates law to provide the most up-to-date advice to clients.
Skills & Experience Required :
* Degree in Law and admission to practice in NSW.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in Wills and Estates law.
* Proven ability to manage a diverse caseload of wills, probate, and estate matters.
* Strong communication skills and ability to deal with clients in sensitive and challenging situations.
* Highly organised with a keen attention to detail and ability to work independently.
* Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
