Senior NPI Designer (Civil / Architectural) Role Responsibilities: Reporting to the NPI area manager, you will deliver of all design elements relating to NPI facilities which include temporary and permanent camps, refuelling facilities, MEM workshops and road network that links the NPI facilities. Maintain design interface in model between all disciplines. Update project drawings with data and designs from vendor D&C packages. Be responsible for developing approval drawings, if required. Producing 2D drawings using MicroStation. Cross disciplinary coordination to ensure successful delivery of Customer’s requirement. Identify issues and problems, develop appropriate solutions, and ask for assistance when required. What you’ll have Awarded a 2 or 3 year technical diploma with discipline specific training or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Extensive years of experience in civil or structural design in the mining, energy and/or infrastructure sector. Prior experience of working within medium to large projects within multidiscipline environment is desirable but not essential. Experience in Resource Sector is preferred but not essential. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Be highly driven with a focus on delivery and service. Worked in a project with a 3D modelling workflow will be view favourably. General experience and knowledge across NPI, earthworks, piping, electrical and communications. Having a background in architectural drafting will be advantageous. Sound knowledge of a civil design package such as 12D is preferred but not essential. Prior experience in road design or large earthworks projects is advantageous.
