About the role
We are currently recruiting for a Property Designer to the Property team within our Governance and Corporate Services division. This role can be based anywhere within Essential Energy’s operational footprint.
Reporting to the Head of Property, the Property Designer is responsible for coordinating the provision of property design solutions that meet the customers' development needs, is safe, maintainable, sustainable and compliant with Essential Energy’s policies and procedures while maximising the satisfaction of all stakeholders and community expectations.
The role provides high-level technical advice to the Property Team, their consultants, and project managers to ensure design integrity is maintained across Essential Energy.
About You
You are a qualified architect with proven experience in property design, capable of managing complex projects and collaborating with diverse teams to meet organisational goals. You have excellent design and documentation skills, proficiency with tools like SketchUp and AutoCAD, and the ability to balance conflicting demands while providing effective solutions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills will allow you to engage with stakeholders at all levels and deliver excellent customer service. Your strong organisational skills and attention to detail ensure timely project delivery, while your integrity and professionalism contribute to maintaining high standards.
Required Qualifications
1. Bachelor Degree of Design (Architecture) and a current registration with an Australian/State Architecture Registration Board
2. Drivers Licence
3. NSW WorkCover Construction Induction Certificate
