About the role The Electrical & Control System Engineer is a full-time permanent position, based at Wetherill Park, NSW. Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will provide support for Gyprock factory in Control Systems (including Electrical, Engineering, PLC's, Supervisory systems, and SCADA). You will also deliver process control and collaborate with the team that improves the safety, reliability, and efficiency of factory operations. In this role you will: Analyse plant processes, design, and implement improvements. Support & improve the site maintenance strategy. Coordinate, support and coach on-site Electricians. Develop and implement solutions to deliver automation to improve production efficiency. Manage and plan end of life to equipment level. Develop and implement solutions to deliver energy improvements. Maintenance of PLC and SCADA systems (Allen Bradley). Manage site electrical engineering projects & support national capital projects. What you bring to the role Electrical qualifications or Electrical Engineering Degree qualified or equivalent. Previous experience in process control, automation, or related field. Industry experience – heavy industry, manufacturing or ideally, you will have experience in working with PLC (e.g. Allen Bradley). Working knowledge of Safety systems (e.g. AS4024 1501 & 1503).
