Relocation Authorized: National/International - Camp Telework Type: Full-Time Office/Project Work Location: Karratha WA Extraordinary teams building inspiring projects: Since 1898, we have helped customers complete more than 25,000 projects in 160 countries on all seven continents that have created jobs, grown economies, improved the resiliency of the world's infrastructure, increased access to energy, resources, and vital services, and made the world a safer, cleaner place.Differentiated by the quality of our people and our relentless drive to deliver the most successful outcomes, we align our capabilities to our customers' objectives to create a lasting positive impact.We serve the Infrastructure; Nuclear, Security & Environmental; Energy; Mining & Metals, and the Manufacturing and Technology markets.Our services span from initial planning and investment, through start-up and operations.Job Summary: As Electrical Field Engineer, you will provide project field engineering specialization and expertise with work planning and packaging, material management, quantity verification and validation, safety and quality control, technical inspection and testing knowledge, and subcontract coordination.Your recommendations will ensure field engineering activities operate safely, are complete, and conform to quality standards and project requirements.Major Responsibilities: Prepares construction drawings and sketches.Leads preparation of construction drawings and schedules and the design of temporary construction facilities and ensures preparation of "as built" drawings and other job plans.Material Management: Initiates requisitions for field purchases.Prepares quantity takeoffs of field purchased material and equipment.Quantities: Verifies commodities on quantity tracking systems or other computer database systems as required.Reporting on daily and weekly installed quantities to Project Controls.Safety / Quality Control: Ensures zero accident philosophy and requirements are implemented and adhered to by craft and others when in the operational area, and tools and equipment are in safe condition and operated safely.Manage Project EEHA Dossier (HAVD) and associated Inspection and Test Records.Technical: Proactively considers continuous learning or shows interest to pursue appropriate learning activities.Other responsibilities as designated.Education and Experience Requirements: Requires bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience.Oil & Gas or LNG Project construction experience assigned as Electrical Field Engineer.Direct Hire Experience, preferably in a lump-sum environment.Required Knowledge and Skills: Familiarity with Bechtel Standard Applications (BSAPs), including Setroute, TEAMWorks, Aconex, DSCS, and Unifier.Understanding of Electrical Equipment Hazardous Areas (EEHA) and related Australian Standards.Excellent problem-solving ability.Working Rights in Australia without employer sponsorship are required.Additional Information: This position has responsibilities that include exposure to changing environmental, construction, and operational conditions, which may include: extensive walking in and around an active construction and/or operations site, climbing ladders, working at heights from work platforms including scaffolding, and mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs), use of personal fall arrest equipment, walking and working on uneven surfaces, working in constricted and/or confined spaces, variable work shifts (e.g., day, night, weekends, 1st, 2nd, 3rd shift, etc.), and work in inclement weather.Some lifting may be required.Candidate must be able to use standard issued Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required for each assigned task (i.e.respirator, harness, life vest, hearing protection, etc.).The Pluto Train 2 Project is a Major Hazard Facility meaning this is a non-smoking site and no tobacco products – i.e.cigarettes, vapes, lighters, tobacco -
