What You’ll Be Working On
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys and is confident in investigating, planning, designing and managing various capital and maintenance projects from start to finish.
You will undertake condition and safety audits of infrastructure assets to identify priority maintenance works. You are also required to manage works in relation to stormwater, roads and footpaths and have the opportunity to undertake assessment of engineering referrals for Development Applications.
What You’ll Bring to the Role
The successful candidate will possess tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Project Management or a related field and a minimum of two years’ relevant experience. You will have demonstrated ability in liaising with consultants to scope, plan and design maintenance and capital works projects in a cost effective manner.
You will have sound knowledge and understanding of the processes involved in preparing tender documentation, tender assessment and contract administration.
Your excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as your high level of organisation, attention to detail, problem solving and time-management skills will contribute to your success in the role.
In addition to the above, you will also have a current Class C driver licence and General Construction Induction card.
