Our services focus on prevention, restoration and healing to provide specialised support to address immediate safety issues and provide advice, referrals, and connection to assist the recovery journey.About the role We are seeking an experienced and dynamic State Manager Family Violence & National Projects (TAS) to join our team.
This critical leadership role will oversee the operational management of all services within the portfolio, ensuring effective, efficient, and compliant service delivery to those impacted by family and domestic violence.This position will also provide specialist knowledge and expertise in Family Violence practice to lead the development and implementation of national service delivery plans frameworks and practice that ensures innovative and client centred service delivery.
Reporting to the General Manager, this is a permanent, full-time position based in New Town and Derwent North, Tasmania.
Salary and conditions above award.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Management: Manage governance, risk and mitigation, contractual and accreditation requirements.Team Leadership: Lead the development of strong, resilient, and qualified teams of social service professionals who are equipped to deliver high-quality services.
Foster a positive and collaborative work culture to enhance team performance.Funding and Contract Management: Identify and pursue new funding opportunities to support and expand service delivery.National Project Management: Create National Frameworks for implementing the Model of Care.
Lead reviews of key aspects of service delivery across the national landscape.
Establish and integrate national-level practice partnerships within the Family Violence Stream.Sector Involvement: Collaborate with colleagues nationally and across service streams to contribute to national policy development and advocacy efforts.
