Our local government client is seeking a Statutory Planning Officer to join their team on a Permanent Full Time basis.
Based in the southern suburbs of Perth, join a fast growing coucil in a collaborative and positive team.
Main Duties
* Assessment of planning applications in an efficient manner within statutory timeframes for signing by Manager Statutory Planning and Compliance.
* Provide a weekly report on the status of all development applications.
* Represent Council at the State Administrative Tribunal.
* Prepare reports to Council on planning matters.
About You:
* Experience in assessing development applications.
* Positive attitude and strong team focus.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Ability to liaise with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
* Clear concise report writing abilities.
