We are looking for experienced Pastry Cooks / Chefs & Bakers to start immediately on a full-time basis with our client in Coniston, NSW. Ideally, the candidates will be trade qualified or have suitable experience.
In these positions you should be able to:
* Able to develop, design, or create new ideas and items for the business.
* Manage all day-to-day operations of the pastry and bakery section of the kitchen.
* Maintain a lean and professional work environment and adhere to health and safety standards.
* Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and ingredients, ensuring stock is well-maintained, and manage ordering and receiving of supplies as needed to minimize waste.
* Collaborate with the team to develop seasonal menus and limited-time offerings, capitalizing on current trends and customer preferences.
* Assist in customer requests and special orders, ensuring that the final product meets or exceeds customer expectations.
As an experienced pastry cook / chef & baker:
* You must have at least 1 year of experience in a Pastry Chef / Baker related role.
* Hold relevant industry trade qualifications.
* Good knowledge and understanding of different types of pastry, breads, desserts, and cake decorating.
* Ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends, days, and evenings.
* Positive attitude and good communication skills.
These are full-time positions with immediate start. Salary range $60K - $80K depending on experience.
