Senior Legal Counsel Role
Mercy Community is seeking an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join our organization. This role is a Permanent Full-Time position based in our Nudgee office, with the option for up to 2 days of remote work per week.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide commercially focused legal advice on various matters, including contractual agreements, regulatory compliance, and employment law.
* Assist in dispute resolution and litigation, collaborating with external counsel when necessary.
* Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, such as confidentiality agreements and supply agreements.
* Review and advise on relevant legislation affecting our service streams.
About You
* You must hold a Bachelor of Laws degree and be a qualified Legal Practitioner in Queensland, with an active practising certificate.
* Previous experience in a heavily regulated environment, particularly with government agreements and contracts, is essential.
* A commercially focused mindset and ability to manage competing priorities are crucial for success in this role.
