Chief Pharmacy Information OfficerFull-time Permanent
Responsibilities:Provide leadership, facilitate engagement with, and represent the views of pharmacists and clinical users of medication systems across public hospital and health services in the ACT in relation to the procurement, implementation and use of technology.Provide professional leadership for allied health professionals within the Digital Solutions Division.Facilitate and manage reporting of system and equipment performance including service logs and issues and ensuring system faults are managed appropriately.Manage relationships and processes between the team, Pharmacy, vendors, users and other relevant stakeholders in relation to support and maintenance (daily or emergency), implementation of upgrades, new systems, service releases and enhancements, contract negotiation and management as agreed by the ACT Health.Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team to deliver client-oriented high quality services and support and plan, direct and co-ordinate a number of small ICT projects in medication systems and their supporting infrastructure.Lead or participate in relevant continuous improvement activities, policy development and reviews.Undertake other duties as directed, within the approved scope of clinical practice ensuring the delivery of high quality person and family centred, safe and high quality patient care.We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where people with diverse thoughts, lived experience, and perspectives can thrive and contribute their unique talents to the ACTPS and ACT community.
