Job Title: Employee Relations / Industrial Relations (ER/IR) Manager
We are seeking an experienced ER/IR Manager to join the Perdaman Project team in Karratha, WA.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will lead and manage ER/IR functions, ensuring compliance with employment legislation, resolving workplace matters, and supporting positive employee engagement.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Proactively manage ER cases such as grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
* Develop strategies to address workplace issues, fostering a productive and engaged environment.
* Lead industrial relations strategies, liaising with unions (e.g., CFMEU) and other stakeholders to mitigate risks and disputes.
Compliance and Governance:
* Maintain the Register of Enterprise Agreements, ensuring compliance with the Fair Work Act and employment laws.
* Provide expert advice on enterprise agreements, awards, and industrial instruments.
Employee Lifecycle Management:
* Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, and offboarding processes.
* Support the execution of performance reviews, salary benchmarking, and workforce planning activities.
Stakeholder Engagement:
* Collaborate with unions, legal advisors, and project leadership to address concerns and maintain positive relationships.
* Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on ER/IR-related risks and opportunities.
Monitoring and Reporting:
* Monitor workforce trends, prepare ER/IR reports, and implement insights for improved engagement and productivity.
