Job Title: Finance Manager
Location: Tullamarine and Campbellfield sites
This is a highly varied and challenging leadership role that will see you as the trusted advisor to site-based leadership teams and senior stakeholders both internally and externally.
About the Role:
The Finance Manager will be integral to manufacturing sites in Tullamarine, Campbellfield, Bayswater, and Bega, with the role being based primarily across our Tullamarine and Campbellfield sites.
Key Responsibilities:
* Primary Finance contact for the 4 manufacturing sites.
* Provide accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and costing services for the sites.
* Focus on the key value drivers of the region related to operational effectiveness (yield, quality, OEE, cost management), capital effectiveness and cost recovery maximization.
* Collaborate with other functional areas to develop a broader view of regional performance, providing both results and insights to the GM Commercial Supply Chain & Operations Oceania.
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualifications in accounting, commercial or financial management or other relevant discipline.
* CA/CPA qualified.
* Minimum 5 years in an Accounting / Finance role, preferably within the manufacturing sector, including Team Leader / Manager experience.
* Proficiency in preparing and analysing financial statements (P&L, balance sheets, cash flow), and using them for decision-making.
* Expertise in creating, managing, and revising budgets and forecasts, especially in the context of manufacturing costs, inventory, and capital expenditures.
* Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis, financial modelling, and the use of complex formulas and pivot tables.
* Ability to present financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders, making complex financial data understandable for senior management and other departments.
