Job Description:
* The Department of Treasury and Finance is seeking a new ICT Officer to provide service desk support to staff requiring IT assistance.
* Use your broad range of technical competencies and flexibility to undertake a wide range of technical and system support tasks relating to the Department’s IT systems infrastructure.
* You will work in a small dynamic team in our Hobart office with a supportive, values-based culture.

You will have an aptitude for working with information and communication technology combined with:
* a passion for dealing with and helping other people
* an analytical mind and an aptitude for solving technical problems
* the ability to manage multiple tasks at once and set sensible priorities for these tasks.

About the Branch
The Operations and Support team provide information and technology support and assistance to staff and manage and support the Department’s information systems infrastructure, including personal computing devices, telecommunication services and connectivity.
The Information and Technology Services Branch provide information and records management services; develop, maintain and support business information systems; cyber security services; and plan, initiate, manage and deliver nominated information and communications technology and information management related projects.
Desirable Requirements
A relevant qualification or equivalent experience.
