The Opportunity Reporting to the EGM People & Culture, as the Head of HR you will: Provide business focused operational HR advice to the Board, senior executive and business leaders; Coach and support all leaders on workforce planning, recruitment, HR operations, performance management and general HR matters; Be the expert in Industrial Relations especially pertaining to Award employees; Be the 'trusted HR advisor' leading the HR business partnering team enabling business leaders to make well-informed HR decisions; and Work collaboratively with all business leaders to deliver person-centred HR policies, procedures and service delivery across the organisation.
About You For this appointment, you will be a Head of HR or senior HR practitioner with the following skills: Proactive senior generalist HR professional with a coaching and mentoring approach; Strong person-centred relationship and stakeholder management skills; Significant experience providing contemporary HR advice and guidance supporting the delivery of business objectives and the ability to influence at all levels; Superior business partnering skills to provide leadership and guidance to your team; Extensive knowledge in Industrial Relations including superior expertise in Industrial Relations with Award employees; Proven expertise in strategic workforce planning, HR operations, recruitment and performance management; Demonstrable experience working in a high volume, complex environment is essential; Proven focus on continuous improvement, innovation and consistency of service delivering operational efficiencies; Experience managing change in a complex operational environment; Expertise in an NFP or an understanding of community services.
