This role is based at Healesville Sanctuary in the heart of the Yarra Valley.
Reporting to the Head Chef, this role is a hands-on role in a fast paced kitchen with a dual focus on banquet preparation and short order cooking.
It will assist in the daily running of the kitchen from food preparation to contributing to menu design ideas.
The ideal candidate will have the following: Food Handling Certificate (requirement) Experience as a cook in a hospitality industry Relevant experience working within relevant food and beverage establishments i.e.
busy hotel or club kitchen, large café/ bistro, tourism facility, hotel food service outlet etc.
Ability to work calmly under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
Excellent time-management and organisational skills.
