What success looks like in this role:
The Field Engineer performs activities associated with installing, diagnosing, maintaining, and servicing computer-related products, including but not limited to desktop/laptop computers, printers, and peripherals.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
1. Provide On-site support to various clients.
2. Provide support for hardware such as laptops, desktops, and monitors.
3. Install and maintain PCs along with associated accessories and peripherals.
4. Perform installs, moves, adds, and changes as required.
5. Test and certify PCs.
6. Provide follow-up on problems, escalations, and requests.
7. Maintain a high degree of professionalism.
8. Ensure customer satisfaction throughout all transactions.
9. Ensure incident and request tickets are updated according to the ticketing system.
10. Provide on-call support.
11. Some travel
You will be successful in this role if you have:
12. NV1 Security Clearance is required.
13. Must be an Australian Citizen
14. The work location is Adelaide.
15. Achieves and/or exceeds contracted customers' Service Level Agreements (SLAs), defined customer satisfaction ratings, and quarterly KPI goals
16. Understanding of hardware and software support services
17. Time management
18. Motivated and enthusiastic
19. Experience in the delivery of IT support services with specified KPI’s
20. Effective verbal and written communication skills
21. Strong focus on providing customer service, with great verbal and written communication skills
22. Problem-solving abilities and an analytical mindset.
23. A keen interest in developing a career in IT.
