Position: Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) at a regional health service provider.
About the Role:
* The ANUM holds a key clinical, supportive and leadership role to staff, students and consumers to ensure appropriate clinical care is provided so positive outcomes consumers can be met.
* The role involves assessing and prioritising consumer needs, functioning both independently and collaboratively.
* You will support and lead staff, students, and consumers, while upholding the values and expected behaviours of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and collaborate on the development of clinical policies and innovative service projects.
* Provide nursing leadership at organisational and departmental meetings and supervise Graduate Nurses and Nursing Students.
* Deliver quality clinical care, manage caseloads, and maintain accurate, timely medical records.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, and contribute to quality improvement and risk management programs.
Key Requirements:
* Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) and competency in clinical care.
* Strong knowledge of AN-ACC funding, ability to work within multidisciplinary teams, and excellent time management skills.
* Demonstrated commitment to delivering safe, high-quality care and evidence of recent influenza and COVID-19 immunisations.
* Ideally would have experience across ALS, cannulation, ECG and flobotomy.
* Current National Police Check, Victorian Driver’s License, and Working with Children Check.
