OVERVIEW
Join our diverse team as a Marketing Communications Specialist, where you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and elevating various brands across the platform. Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Communications, you’ll leverage your expertise in content development and research-driven storytelling to create impactful promotional campaigns and training materials that drive business success. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce compelling assets, from website pages to product documentation, videos, and event materials. Your creativity will help support innovative marketing strategies, optimize digital performance, and strengthen brand presence. This is a permanent full-time role. It is in-person, requiring the successful candidate to be located in Victoria, BC. The salary range is $55,000-$70,000 plus an annual bonus targeted at 10%.
YOUR PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Develop and maintain product assets such as data sheets, web pages, and presentation decks and work with external and internal resources to produce product videos.
* Work with the larger Marcom team on new product launches, including product assets, training materials, and promotional strategies.
* Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Manager and internal sales teams to write engaging content to improve buyer journey and conversion.
* Build visually compelling graphics to communicate complex information effectively.
* Work with a graphic designer to design brochures, web banners, and other graphic materials for targeted audiences.
* Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Manager and Product Marketer to track and measure the effectiveness of campaigns, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
* A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field; a combination of education and experience will also be considered.
* A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in marketing communications, with demonstrated success in SEO and content strategy.
* Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling abilities tailored to various audiences and platforms.
* Proven ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and work cross-functionally.
* Proficiency in web content management systems and CRMs (WordPress and HubSpot) and analytics tools.
* Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
* Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Proven experience with and ability to develop and deepen content channels, including LinkedIn, blogs, and e-newsletters.
