Ready to take a swing at the ultimate island job? We are looking for a qualified Golf Course Mechanic superstar to join our team!

Under the guidance of our Workshop Manager, you will be the driving force behind keeping our 18-hole Champion Golf Course in top shape. From routine vehicle maintenance to tinkering with golf buggies, you’ll be the hero of the fairways.
This role offers flexibility to live on Island OR commute daily from nearby Airlie Beach.

Your Role
* Ensuring timely maintenance and repairs on all vehicles and equipment
* Prioritise and address urgent repairs promptly
* Maintain a clean work environment at all times
* Responsible for the maintenance and security of all tools which are the property of HIE
* Ensure safe operation of equipment is maintained at all times
About You
* Certificate III in Automotive Repair (Essential)
* Current driver's licence (Essential)
* White card (Essential)
* Previous experience specific to golf courses (Toro equipment would be an advantage)
* Demonstrate previous experience in maintaining and repairing golf buggies
* If you have a Forklift Licence we would be very impressed
