You will engage with the community at pop-up events, organise community meetings, research and problem solve complex localised planning matters, engage with colleagues across the organisation, develop policy positions and more.
You will have considerable knowledge and experience in strategic land use planning and development assessment practices, which have seen the successful delivery of moderate-to-complex strategic land use planning projects at a localised level. You will hold a Degree in Urban and Regional planning, or equivalent.
You will also enjoy being a part of a positive and collaborative team environment to achieve quality outcomes for our communities and neighbourhoods.
About You

* You will have considerable experience in the delivery of moderate-to-complex strategic land use planning projects, leading and guiding project-based teams and conducting evidence-based research to inform policy options and directions, and planning scheme amendments.
* You will have demonstrated experience in project management and associated risk management practices.

* The opportunity to advance your skills and career through our Study, Training and Research Scheme (STARS).
* Salary packaging options on novated leases, superannuation payments, smartphones and devices.
* Discounted health insurance, free annual flu vaccinations and our Fitness Passport Program.
* Our Caboolture and Strathpine offices have local parking on site and are close to public transport networks, making for an easy commute.
