What does the role involve?
The purpose of the role is to create value in the allocated account's portfolio. The role involves professional field sales and high-level customer consultation in the defined territory within the Mining industry. Your general activities include:
1. Performing customer calls as specified in the sales execution policy through pragmatic utilisation of time and territory management systems
2. Identifying new business opportunities
3. Negotiating trade agreements to secure and maximise profitability for the customer’s portfolio
4. Application selling, on site demonstrations and problem solving

What you need is:
13. Previous experience as an Account Manager, Sales Representative or a customer facing role
14. Experience working in, or selling into the Mining Industry is highly advantageous
15. Eagerness to learn
16. Solution selling and customer centric approach
17. A valid Australian drivers license
18. Proficient computer skills including MS Office Suite, smartphones and experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM is desirable
19. Motivated & capable of working independently, managing your own call cycle
20. Proven negotiation and influencing abilities with advanced planning skills
