As a registered nurse or midwife, you need to have a postgraduate Child and Family Health qualification or be prepared to work towards a CFH qualification. Child and Family Health Scholarships are available for the qualification generously provided by the Chief Nursing and Midwifery Officer. If you are not confident you have enough experience in child and family health, you will be intensively supported in your practice by a team of experienced clinicians, educators and managers through a comprehensive onboarding program. Current authority to practice as a Registered Nurse and or Midwife with AHPRA 2. Postgraduate /post registration qualifications in Child and Family Health, or *working toward CFH qualification (*must provide transcript evidence of course progress and/or enrolment registration to the tertiary facility) 3. Understanding of, and commitment to, evidence-based practice. 4. Demonstrated experience in attending to the physical, social, and emotional needs of children, and their families 5. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the principles of population health and primary health care. 6. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the principles and skills of working in partnership and the principles that underpin NSW Safestart, within a multidisciplinary team environment 7. Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication and negotiation skills, including computer literacy. 8. Current NSW Drivers Licence Class C.
