The successful person will work with our HR Team to support the organisation to deliver quality, person-centred, customer focused outcomes for NDIS and other participants. You will be an integral part of the recruitment process sourcing the right candidate for the people we support.This position is a part time opportunity for 72hours, based out of our Maryborough office and leads admin assistance functions of the organisation including Regulatory Workplace Health and Safety, Admin & Human Resources. The HR Assistant will possess the following experience and attributes:Required Qualifications:
6 months Administrative or 6 months Human Resources experience (essential)
Certificate III in Business or Administration (highly desirable)
Exposure to Fair Work and SCHADS Award (desirable)
Basic knowledge of administrative practices and procedures relevant to the workplace
Basic numeracy, written and verbal communication skills relevant to the work area;
Basic knowledge of workplace function and operation;
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
Computer literate with capability in email, MS Office, Teams and related business and communication tools.
Good organisational and time management skills.
General administration including photocopying/collating as required.
Assist with filing system, archiving and scanning of documents and setting up of new hardcopy files.
Attention to detail.
Understanding of policies and procedures related to HR.
Ability to accurately apply established practices and procedures.
Ability to act independently within limits of organisational standards and procedures.
Ability to apply solutions to problems found in established procedures and instructions with assistance.
