The successful candidate will play a key role in leading structural design projects from concept through to completion, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary in-house teams to deliver exceptional results.
This is a team in which both your technical skills, and contribution to company culture will be highly regarded and as a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be a mentor for junior team members and assist with further developing this growing team.

About You:
If you have a passion for innovation, and excellent communication skills and previous experience with similar projects in Australia, are a Senior Structural Engineer or feel you are ready to step up and take on the responsibilities, we want to hear from you.
Your Key Responsibilities will be:
1. Lead structural design and analysis for a variety of building projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
2. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to develop innovative and cost-effective design solutions.
3. Conduct site visits and assessments to evaluate existing structures and provide recommendations for repairs or upgrades.
4. Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and drafters, fostering their professional development and growth.
5. Review and approve engineering drawings, calculations, and specifications to ensure accuracy and quality.
6. Participate in client meetings and presentations, effectively communicating technical concepts and project progress.
Ideally, you will have:
7. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
8. Registered as a Professional Engineer in Victoria.
9. Demonstrated experience leading a team and coordinating projects.
10. Experience in a role of a commensurate level.
11. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
