The successful candidate will provide high-quality, evidence-based audiology services to adults and children. Additionally, they will play a key role in clinical education, to facilitate learning and ensure students develop the professional and practical competencies necessary for the profession. They will be required to work across the two clinics on the following schedule: Wed. to Fri. - Liverpool Hospital Mon. and Tues. - Macquarie University (Week 1) One day (Mon. or Tues.) every second week (Week 2) - Macquarie University This role will require adaptability and the ability to work effectively across these two different clinical environments, each with it's own client caseload and skillset requirements. About You To succeed in this role, you will be a passionate and professional audiologist committed to delivering high-quality audiology services and clinical education. You will have: • A postgraduate qualification in Clinical Audiology. • Audiology Australia Accredited Audiologist certification with an active QP number. • Enthusiasm for working in an innovative multidisciplinary environment that balances delivery of high-quality integrated health services. • Experience providing both diagnostic audiology (including balance assessments) and rehabilitative audiology services. About Us The Liverpool Hospital Audiology Clinic is located in the Liverpool Health and Academic Precinct, while the MQ Health Speech and Hearing Clinic is based on Macquarie University’s North Ryde campus. Both clinics are dedicated to providing high-quality audiology services to the community while also serving as clinical education facilities for students in the Master of Clinical Audiology program. • The Liverpool Hospital Audiology Clinic delivers a comprehensive range of diagnostic audiology services for both inpatients and outpatients. • The MQ Health Speech and Hearing Clinic provides a variety of audiological services to adults and children. Essential Selection Criteria To be considered for this role, applicants must demonstrate the following: • A postgraduate qualification in Clinical Audiology. • Hold an Audiology Australia Accredited Audiologist Certification and be a Full or Fellow membership with Audiology Australia. • Have an active Hearing Services Program Qualified Practitioner number. • A minimum of 2 years of experience and skill delivering evidence-based audiology services. • Demonstrated experience working with diverse client caseloads in diagnostic audiology (including balance assessments) and rehabilitative audiology. • Experience or interest in delivering clinical education to students. • A strong understanding of the professional code of ethics and relevant healthcare legislation.
