Role Introduction:
Reporting to the People & Talent Manager, the People & Talent Associate will assist with the build and rollout of diverse HR initiatives whilst owning the talent acquisition cycle end to end. This role is based full-time in our Alexandria office and will suit a HR or Talent professional in the early stages of their career looking to broaden their skillset.
Some things you’ll be working on:
1. HR Operations:
o HR Administration: Manage employee records, handle HR documentation, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
o System Maintenance: Support the maintenance and upkeep of HR systems and databases, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
o Office Administration: Assist with general office administration tasks such as scheduling interviews and supporting office events.
2. Talent Acquisition:
o Candidate Sourcing: Use recruitment platforms to source candidates across a variety of disciplines including Design, Production, Sales, Marketing, Content and Operations.
o Screening and Interviewing: Conduct initial screenings, schedule interviews, and coordinate communication between candidates and hiring managers.
o Onboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires to ensure a smooth transition into the company.
3. HR Projects:
o Social Committee Activities: Organise and coordinate events and activities to promote employee engagement and a positive company culture.
o Learning and Development: Assist in developing and implementing training programs and workshops to support employee growth and development.
o Employee Engagement: Support initiatives aimed at improving employee satisfaction and retention, such as surveys, feedback sessions, and recognition programs.
o Policy Development: Contribute to the creation and revision of HR policies and procedures, ensuring they align with company goals and legal requirements.
Experience you’ll bring:
* Degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred, but not required if offset with relevant experience.
* Ideally, you’ll have some exposure to both HR and talent acquisition, but we are open minded providing there is an active interest in both fields.
* Comfortable handling conflict and dealing with sensitive matters in a professional and discreet manner.
* Excellent time management with the ability to organise tasks and priorities effectively.
* Strong attention to detail with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, familiarity with HR or Recruitment software a plus.
* Excellent communication skills with a natural ability to interact and engage with employees and candidates of all levels.
