Your Role
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and enthusiastic educators for the position of Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Assistants to join the staff of St Francis Catholic Primary School, Tannum Sands.
St Francis is seeking a Qualified Educator to join their OSHC Service. This is a part-time continuing position for a minimum 25hpw, for an immediate commencement or as negotiated with the successful applicant.
A qualified educator will be required to hold a minimum of a Diploma, or equivalent as per the ACECQA approved qualifications.
As an Outside School Hours Care Assistant you will play a vital role in providing an engaging experience for children during before school, after school and vacation care periods. Your responsibilities may include:
Assist with the delivery of a quality education program
Provide direct supervision and support to all children to participate in the program
Ensure the cleanliness of the areas utilised by Outside School Hours Care students and staff are maintained.
Develop awareness of and ensuring the health and safety of the students in your care, including appropriately supervising children at all times.
Assisting the Coordinator with administration tasks as required.

Mandatory Requirements
A current valid Blue Card under the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000 (WWC Act) and valid Suitability Notice is a requirement of the position.
A minimum Diploma in Children’s Services or equivalent (ACECQA approved qualifications) is preferred.
First Aid Certificate, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Training (ACECQA approved)
It is a requirement of the position that the successful applicants undertake a National Crime Check (Police Check) or provide details of a Police Check that is not more than six months old.
Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role in a safe manner.
