Randstad is seeking suitable candidates for a site-based Mechanical Reliability Engineer within a leading mining and resources organization.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop operating and work procedures for the reliability program team.
* Ensure compliance with relevant standards and statutory obligations.
* Complete upfront project works (PIAs, SORs etc.) and raise ERNs.
* Perform quality checks for execution tasks as required.
* Participate in audits of site equipment and systems to ensure asset management practices meet company requirements.
* Review execution results from current weekly work schedules to support and ensure compliance of preventative maintenance.
The role requires:
Essential Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar Mining or Heavy Industry.
* Excellent computing skills.
* Strong knowledge of Asset Management principles and experience.
* High focus on safety and knowledge of OH&S and mining regulations.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Highly technical and detailed nature.
Candidates must demonstrate experience in a similar role, with preference given to those with mining experience. A positive attitude and strong commitment to safety and quality are essential.
