About the Role
Join our team and make a difference in your local community by playing a crucial role in catering to the unique requirements of individuals utilising our Queensland Community Support Scheme (QCSS). Your mission is to employ a person-centred approach, helping clients to attain their goals and fulfil their support needs.
You will be providing personalised support to our QCSS clients within their home, you will be required to travel around Townsville and surrounds as you will be supporting multiple clients a day.
This is a Casual position which offers flexible working hours tailored to your lifestyle. The shifts are short, split shifts with all working hours between the hours of 7am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, no evening or sleepover shifts (must be available to work on Fridays).
Key Responsibilities
Assist clients to improve their independence according to their identified needs and goals inclusive of:

Domestic assistance such as light cleaning and housework

Assistance with meal preparation

Establish a rapport and collaborate effectively with clients and their family
Skills & Experience
Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Disability or similar) or above
QLD Working With Children Check (Blue Card)
Excellent organisational skills, hygiene practices and problem-solving abilities
An Australian Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle with minimum third-party insurance.
Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships
A current First Aid and CPR Certificate (must be obtained prior to employment)
