About The Role:
FourQuarters are exclusively engaged with a dynamic consulting business who are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Business Partner to join their team on a 9-10 fixed term month contract basis.
As a Finance Business Partner, you will serve as the primary lead for revenue accounting, Work in Progress (WIP) and Accounts Receivable management.
In this strategic position, you will serve as a trusted advisor to the Partnership, collaborating closely with senior consulting staff and Partners to provide actionable insights and guidance, while driving positive financial outcomes across all project accounting matters.
This role covers a wide range of responsibilities, including project reporting, contract management, invoice preparation and distribution and performing various ad-hoc analyses.
Key Responsibilities:
* Create and deliver customised reports for clients based on requests from senior stakeholders.
* Conduct detailed revenue analysis as requested for each client, including provisioning and closeout details.
* Determine target pricing, monitor price variances, secure discount approvals within set limits, manage local investment budgets, and calculate margins while allocating partner time accordingly.
* Manage the weekly creation of new project codes ensuring accurate and timely execution.
* Ensure strict adherence to contracts by securing client approvals, preparing weekly compliance reports, and performing statistical analysis.
* Prepare and maintain detailed reports on client-specific and Practice Area pipelines, and manage backlog reporting as needed.
* Collaborate with client procurement, accounts payable, and commercial finance teams to secure purchase orders, process invoices, and address ad-hoc commercial issues.
* Perform targeted financial analysis to support strategic initiatives, identify trends, and recommend improvements in financial operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Minimum of 2-3 years post-qualification experience in finance or project accounting roles.
* CA/CPA certification is strongly preferred or supported by equivalent work experience.
* Experience working within professional services firms or large global corporations is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are essential.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct comprehensive pricing analysis, revenue variance assessments, and financial forecasting.
* Demonstrated expertise in revenue accounting, Work in Progress (WIP) and Accounts Receivable management.
